Teresa M. Bennett
Ms. Bennett is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice groups. Ms. Bennett focuses primarily on commercial litigation, including creditors’ rights, contract disputes, commercial lease disputes, employment disputes concerning non-competition and confidentiality agreements, commercial loan disputes, judgment enforcement and contested commercial foreclosure matters. Ms. Bennett also supports the firm’s Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group, representing commercial real estate developers, banking institutions and other creditors in matters arising under the Bankruptcy Code.
Ms. Bennett is Co-Chair of the Committee on the Commercial Division, of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association, and the Treasurer of the First Decade Committee of the NDNY Federal Court Bar Association. While in law school, Ms. Bennett served as Executive Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and as a member of the Syracuse Science and Technology Law Reporter.
