Mr. Vellano was elected Executive Vice President and COO of the firm in September, 2007. He is also the chair of the Banking Law and Commercial Transactions practice groups. His banking practice includes commercial loan closings, loan documentation and restructuring, property purchase and sale, bank branch formation and general regulatory and compliance issues. He has presented seminar topics including loan and deposit documentation, loan closings and structuring, loan workouts, lender liability planning and collection methods and strategies to both lawyers and banking groups. He is a co-author of “Enforcing Judgments and Collecting Debts in New York.”
